We have developed a next-generation miniature laser-pumped magnetometer, optimized for high-resolution scalar magnetic field measurements in complex geomagnetic environments.
This new design retains the sensitivity, measurement range, and bandwidth of traditional optically pumped magnetometers, ensuring full compatibility with existing applications.
The core advancement lies in replacing the traditional cesium lamp with a VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) semiconductor diode. This shift delivers multiple benefits:
